I took up riding only 9 months ago but fell in love with it immediately. As a 47yo, I wish I had’ve taken it up earlier, but Rob is so helpful and encouraging and I’m not made to feel foolish for trying something new well beyond my teens. I currently live in the UK but home is Adelaide and every trip back here I make, I ensure I get a ride in with Rob, Graham and their beautiful horses. In the UK, I have been having some top riding tuition which is great, but the wonderful thing about Rob and his school, is that he just lets me get on with it and ride. He also allows the students to be completely hands-on with the horses which is such a great benefit for people starting out. I have also introduced 2 little girls to riding and they too adore going down to see “Cisco” – their favourite pony. It is wonderful to see the pleasure on their faces as they hop up on a pony and have a little ride. And at Rob’s school, they also get the opportunity to pat and groom a horse, which I believe, helps them gain an appreciation and understanding of all animals. I’m now about to arrange a 7yo birthday party and you can bet that the biggest treat for everyone (including myself) will be the Pony Rides on one of Rob’s ponies!
